Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Sunday’s trading session on a negative note, maintaining its downward performance on Thursday, 5 March.
The benchmark index fell by 7.87% or 193.61 points to close at 2,266.93 points.
A total of 277.92 million shares were traded through 4,719 transactions at a total value of AED 350.92 million.
The market cap value declined by AED 19.95 billion to AED 331.61 billion, compared to AED 351.56 billion during the previous session.
As for the sectors, the consumer staples topped the decliners with 9.27%.
Meanwhile, Aramex headed 33 losing stocks with 10%, while Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) led two gaining stocks with 4.86%.
DXB Entertainments, down 9.88%, posted the highest trading volume of 40.20 million shares, while Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 101.51 million.
