DFM rises 0.27% at Sunday’s open

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a positive performance in Sunday’s early trades, backed by the rise of banks and real estate stocks.

The DFMGI rose 0.27% or 7.47 points to reach 3,643.71 points by 10:55am UAE time.

The banks sector increased 0.5% as Ajman Bank and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) gained 6.6% and 0.5%, respectively.

The real estate sector grew 0.46% after Damac Properties and Drake and Scull International (DSI) added 2.8% and 1.6%, respectively.

The investment sector climbed 0.09% as SHUAA Capital jumped 0.6%.

The market saw trading of 92.65 million shares through 1,354 transactions, with a turnover of AED 150.12 million.
