Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a positive performance in Wednesday’s early trades, backed by the rise of six sectors led by the real estate and investment.
The main index went up 1.7% or 53.92 points to reach 3,250.23 points by 10:25am UAE time.
The telecom sector topped gainers with a 2.6% increase, spurred by du which advanced 2.6%.
The real estate sector added 2.3% after Emaar Properties levelled up 2.04%. The investment sector also climbed 1.9% as DFM Company grew 0.9%.
The banks sector added 1.02% due to an increase in Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) by1.85%.
The market saw trading of 196.99 million shares through 1,977 transactions, with a turnover of AED 157.63 million.
