Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index grew by 49.7 points, or 1.74%, to 2,900.39 points in a week.
The telecom, investment, banking, and real estate sectors went up by 1.6%, 1.8%, 1.2%, and 2.7%, respectively.
Emaar Properties added 4.2%, while Emirates NBD and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) increased by 1.3%, each.
Market capitalisation rose to AED 375.36 billion over the week, compared to AED 369.56 billion, a week earlier.
Trading volume stood at 733.78 million shares, while turnover hit AED 1.22 million.
