Dubai - Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) returned to the rising trend, supported by selective buying on some stocks, led by Emaar.
The general index rose by 0.65%, gaining 23.3 points, and closed at the level of 3,624.49 points, despite declining for two consecutive weeks.
The real estate sector was the top gainer as it went up by 1.4%, with Emaar adding 1.06%, while banks grew 0.41% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) increased by 0.33%.
Traded values shrank to AED 907.28 million, down from AED 954.29 million last week, while traded volumes decreased to 659.07 million shares, compared to 718.3 million shares at the end of the week before.
