DFM rises for 6th session in row on Thursday

Dubai — Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) index gained 15.81 points or 0.57% to close at 2,776.29 points on Thursday, for the sixth consecutive session.

The services sector topped the gainers with 3.15%, backed by Amanat which added 4.63%,

Similarly, the banks sector went up 2.07% in line with the 3.95% rise of Emirates NBD; and the investment sector added 1.27% on the back of Shuaa which gained 3.81%.

The DFM’s turnover amounted to AED 359.828 million after 207.700 million shares were exchanged through 2,899 transactions.

Emirates NBD posted the highest liquidity of AED 94.82 million.

GFH was the most active stock on which 92.21 million shares were traded. It is noteworthy that the stock is also listed on Bahrain Bourse (BHB) and Boursa Kuwait.
