Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) levelled up by 0.68% or 18.17 points at the end of Monday’s trading session for the second consecutive day, closing at the level of 2,705.47 points.
Turnover recorded AED 249.35 million after 113.88 million shares were traded through 5,230 transactions.
The bourse’s market cap value increased by AED 1.49 billion to stand at AED 367.93 billion from AED 366.44 billion on Sunday.
The consumer staples sector was the top gainer with 3.77%, while the services sector led the decliners with 1.34%.
Emaar Development saw the highest liquidity of AED 63.18 million through the exchange of 17.17 million shares.
Takaful Emarat – Insurance was up by 7.48%, while Al Ramz Corporation Investment and Development was down by 9.92%.
DXB Entertainments and Arabtec Holding went up by 5% and 3.23%, respectively.
