Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened in the green on Sunday, backed by the positive performance of the real estate stocks.
The DFMGI went up 0.14% or 4.6 points to reach 3,312.32 points by 10:20am UAE time.
The real estate sector was the only riser after adding 0.5% due to an increase in Emaar Properties, Arabtec Holding, Deyaar Development, and Drake and Scull International (DSI).
The investment sector slipped 0.4% as Dubai Investments and Gulf General Investment Co. (GGICO) opened lower.
The banks sector also fell 0.12% after Ajman Bank saw losses at open.
Trading volume stood at AED 8.35 million after trading 5.6 million shares through 140 transactions.
