Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a positive performance in Thursday’s early trades, in line with the rise of real estate and investment sectors.
The main index went up 0.12% or 4.15 points to reach 3,484.68 points by 10:40am UAE time.
The real estate sector was the best performer after adding 0.3%, backed by Emaar Properties which grew 0.14%. Likewise, the investment sector advanced 0.13% after SHUAA Capital and DFM Company levelled up 1.6% and 0.8% respectively.
On the flipside, the banks sector led losers after falling 0.23% due to a decline in Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) by 0.55%.
The market saw trading of 35.87 million shares through 603 transactions, with a turnover of AED 50.66 million.
