Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Wednesday’s early trades.
The main index fell 0.14% or 4.7 points to reach 3,461.87 points by 10:20am UAE time.
The transportation sector led losers after falling 0.54%, weighed down by Air Arabia which slid 0.7%. The services sector also went down 0.8% due to a decline in Tabreed by 1.16%.
The banks sector retreated 0.31% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) fell 0.56%. The real estate sector decreased 0.15% after Emaar Properties sank 0.26%.
On the flipside, the investment sector was the only gainer after adding 0.44%, spurred by SHUAA Capital which advanced 0.5%.
The market saw trading of 12.18 million shares through 193 transactions, with a turnover of AED 15.28 million.
