Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened in the red on Sunday, in line with the decline of the telecom, investment and banks sectors.
The main index retreated 0.4% or 14.4 points to reach 3,504.90 points by 10:40am UAE time.
The telecom sector led losers after falling 2.17%, weighed down by du which retreated 2.17%.
The investment sector fell 0.7% as Dubai Investments slid 0.9%. The banks sector decreased 0.26% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) went down 0.4%.
The market saw trading of 25.84 million shares through 392 transactions, with a turnover of AED 35.17 million.
