Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a positive performance in Wednesday’s early trades, backed by the leading stocks in the real estate and banks sectors.
The general rose 1.2% or 35 points to reach 2,954.56 points by 10:40am UAE time.
The market saw trading of 76.4 million shares through 1,200 transactions, with turnover of AED 86.4 million.
The real estate sector advanced 1.74% after Emaar Properties and Arabtec Holding increased 2.06% and 1.2%, respectively.
The banks sector levelled up 1.04% as Dubai Islamic Bank and Emirates NBD grew 0.91% and 2.24% in a row.
The investment sector gained 0.82% due to a rise in Dubai Investments and DFM Company by 0.53% and 1.85%, respectively.
