Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed in the green, spurred by the positive performance of Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) and Arabtec Holding, in addition to the investment sector.
The main gauge went up 0.35% or 11.15 points to reach 3,204.28 points.
Turnover rose to AED 336.27 million ($91.55 million) on Monday, compared to AED 159.3 million ($43.37 million) on Sunday.
Trading volume grew to 193.5 million shares from 152.25 million shares.
The services sector was the top gainer after adding 2.38%, backed by Amanat Holdings and National Central Cooling Co which rose 2.6% and 1.82%, respectively.
The investment sector added 1.78% as DFM Company and Dubai Investments increased 7.2% and 0.5%, respectively.
The banks sector levelled up 1.05%, backed by Dubai Islamic Bank which advanced 3.56%. Meanwhile, Emirates NBD and Ajman Bank lost 2.4% and 6.67% in a row.
The telecom sector retreated 0.79% as du declined to AED 5.03.
