Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s general index went down by 37.19 points, or 1.33%, to reach 2,761.02 points in a week.
Trading volume hit 232.97 million shares, while liquidity amounted to AED 336.13 million.
The banking sector declined by 0.8%, while the real estate and consumer staples sectors shed 2.66% and 2.4%, respectively. The investment sector inched up 0.04%.
Emaar Properties dropped 3.4% and Emaar Malls sank 2.1%. Emirates NBD shrank by 0.4% and Dubai Islamic Bank decreased by 1.5%.
Market capitalisation declined to AED 364.158 billion over the week, compared to AED 366.976 billion in the previous week.
