Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Sunday’s early trades, with its main index falling 0.17% or 7.54 points to reach 3,319.34 points by 10:50 am UAE time.
The investment sector declined 0.23% as Dubai Investments and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) went down 1.46% and 0.35%, respectively.
The real estate sector also slid 0.23% after Emaar Properties retreated 0.35%.
On the other hand, the consumer staples sector topped gainers with a 0.77% rise as DXB Entertainments added 0.66%.
The market saw trading of 38.54 million shares through 347 transactions, with a turnover of AED 60.28 million.
