Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance on Tuesday, pressured down by the fall of investment and banks stocks.
The general index declined 0.05% or 1.65 points to reach 3,423.04 points by 11:00 am UAE time.
The investment sector slid 0.73% as Dubai Investments retreated 0.94%. The banks sector also sank 0.32% as Emirates NBD and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) levelled down 0.62% and 0.35%, respectively.
The insurance sector went down 0.25% after Salama decreased 1.62%.
The market saw trading of 76.51 million shares through 1,190 transactions, with a turnover of AED 152.23 million.
