Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Tuesday’s trading session in green territory, marking a four-session high.
The DFM’s general index finished the mid-week session at 2,673.92 points.
Trading volume amounted to nearly 147.51 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 177.86 million.
Each the investment and the financial services sectors shed 0.41%, and the telecommunication and the banks sectors inched down 0.19% and 0.01%, respectively.
On the other hand, the consumer sector added 1.72%, followed by the insurance and the real estate sectors that fell by 1.75% and 0.53%, respectively.
Emaar Properties was the most heavily traded stock with a turnover of AED 39.1 million after confirming news reports related to Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd of repurchasing shares owned by the leading real estate developer.
