Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Monday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of real estate and investment stocks.
The DFM General Index (DFMGI) fell 1.07% or 38.46 points to reach 3,607.39 points by 10:55am UAE time.
The real estate sector declined by 1.86% as Arabtec Holding retreated 9.9%.
The insurance sector sank 1.53% after Dar Al Takaful tumbled 1.54%. The investment sector also levelled down 1.25% as DFM Company decreased by 3.23%.
The market saw trading of 156.44 million shares through 2,327 transactions, with a turnover of AED 189.80 million.
