Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Sunday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of four sectors led by real estate and investment.
The general index fell 0.6% or 20.95 points to reach 3,500.38 points by 10:57am UAE time.
The real estate sector sank 1.09% as Emaar Properties and Damac Properties retreated 1.8% and 0.9%, respectively.
The investment sector tumbled 0.26% after Dubai Investments levelled down 0.4%.
The banks sector slid 0.06% due to a decline in Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) by 0.4%.
The market saw trading of 76.99 million shares through 1,169 transactions, generating AED 117.31 million.
