Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Thursday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of real estate and investment stocks.
The general index fell 0.3% or 11.27 points to reach 3,562.07 points by 10:50am UAE time.
The real estate sector retreated 0.61% as Arabtec Holding and Union Properties declined 1.17% and 0.9%, respectively.
The investment sector levelled down 0.57% after DFM Company slid 1.5%. The banks sector tumbled 0.52% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) sank 1.03%.
Turnover amounted to AED 84.75 million after trading 75.47 million shares through 1,139 transactions.
