Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened in the red on Sunday amid a negative performance of Emaar stock.
The DFMGI lost 0.11% or 2.2 points to reach 3,056.21 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The investment sector fell 1.4%, weighed by Shuaa Capital and Dubai Investments which decreased 3.3% and 1.7%, respectively.
The services sector levelled down 1.17% as Amanat Holdings retreated 1.23%. Also, the telecom sector declined 0.99% due to a decrease in du by 0.98%.
Meanwhile, the banks sector went down 0.12% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) decreased 0.34%.
On the flipside, the real estate sector added 0.28% as Emaar rose 1.8% to AED 5.5.
The market saw trading of 91.30 million shares through 1,955 transactions, generating AED 150.32 million.
