Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Monday’s early trades due to the decline of leading stocks topped by Arabtec Holding, Emaar Properties, Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) and Dubai investments.
The general index declined 0.8% or 25.3 points to reach 3,135.63 points by 10:35am UAE time.
The investment sector topped losers after falling 1.6% as Dubai Investments and DFM Company dropped 1.95% and 0.82%, respectively.
The real estate sector levelled down 1.1% hurt by Arabtec and Emaar which declined 2.36% and 0.7% in a row.
The banks sector slid 0.4% as DIB was the worst performer after falling 0.16%.
On the flipside, the services sector was the only riser after adding 0.75%, backed by Tabreed which gained 2.73%.
Turnover reached AED 49 million after 52.8 million shares were traded through 679 transactions.
