Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened in the green on Tuesday, backed by the blue chips, especially Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) and Emaar Malls Group.
The DFMGI added 0.08% or 2.5 points to reach 3,268.84 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The consumer staples sector increased 1.6% after Dubai Parks and Resorts levelled up 1.6%.
The banks sector grew 0.14% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) settled 0.5% higher early.
On the flipside, the real estate sector fell 0.2% due to a 0.5% decline in Emaar Properties.
Turnover reached AED 76.52 million after trading 68.28 million shares through 946 transactions.
