DFM trims early losses in mid-session

Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) trimmed it losses in Monday’s mid-session, backed by the positive performance of Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties which gained 0.6% and 0.5%, respectively.

The main gauge fell 0.6% or 19.5 points to reach 3,173.6 points by 12:13am UAE time.

The industrial sector led losers after falling 5.8%, weighed by National Cement Company which lost 5.8%.

The banks sector retreated 1.4%, while the real estate sector fell 0.13%.

The investment sector advanced 0.05% as DFM Company levelled up 0.9%.

Turnover on the stock reached AED 83.64 million as 66.58 million shares were exchanged through 1,500 transactions.
