Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) trimmed its losses in Thursday’s mid-session, backed by the leading stocks.
The DFMGI declined 0.6% or 17.52 points to reach 3,132.73 points by 12:13pm UAE time.
The banks sector led losers after declining 0.92% as Emirates NBD fell 3.9%.
The investment sector retreated 0.6% after Dubai Investments decreased 0.5%.
The real estate sector levelled down 0.46%, weighed by the losses of Emaar Properties and Arabtec Holding.
On the flipside, the insurance sector gained 0.29% as Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Co. added 4.8%.
The market saw trading of 156.6 million shares through 1,870 transactions, with turnover of AED 159.6 million.
