Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) trimmed its losses in Sunday’s mid-session due to the selling pressures on leading stocks.
The general index lost 0.55% or 17.34 points to reach 3,133.66 points.
The real estate sector declined 0.96% as Emaar Malls and Drake and Scull saw a negative performance.
The investment sector levelled down 0.9% after Dubai investments and DFM Company lost 0.99% and 0.8% in a row.
The banks sector decreased 0.28% due to a drop in Dubai Islamic Bank by 1.29%.
On the flipside, the transportation sector topped gainers by 0.3% as Air Arabia rose 0.7% to AED 1.37.
The market saw trading of 87.25 million shares through 1,760 transactions, with turnover of AED 137.9 million.
