Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened in the green on Tuesday, in line with the rise of four sectors led by the investment and banks.
The main index gained 0.25% or 8.99 points to reach 3,611.55 points by 10:40am UAE time.
The investment sector was the best performer with a 1.12% rise, backed by DFM Company which advanced 2.2%. Likewise, the banks sector went up 0.61% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) climbed 1.08%.
On the flipside, the real estate sector went down 0.38% as Emaar fell 0.9%.
The market saw trading of 127.9 million shares through 1,436 transactions, with a turnover of AED 192.39 million.
