Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) increased by 2.42% or 49.39 points to close Sunday's trading session at 2,088.87 points, maintaining the positive performance on the previous session.
A total of 120.42 million shares were traded through 2,290 transactions at a total value of AED 162.68 million.
The market cap value climbed by AED 8.6 billion to AED 300.42 billion, compared to AED 291.82 billion on Thursday
The real estate sector led the risers with 4.69%, followed by the investment and financial services segment with 2.20%.
Dar Al Takaful headed 25 rising stocks with 6.64%, while Al Madina for Finance and Investment came on top of four losing stocks.
Air Arabia posted the highest trading volume of 17.98 million shares, while Emaar Properties, up 6.13%, recorded the highest turnover of AED 33.05 million.
