DFM up on Wednesday; market cap rises to AED 383.84bn

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by around 0.46% or 12.97 points to 2,805.53 points by the end of Wednesday’s trading session.

The market cap value increased by AED 1.31 billion to around AED 383.84 billion from AED 382.53 billion on Tuesday, 28 January.

At the same time, Shuaa Capital, Takaful Emarat, Emirates NBD, and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) came on top of gainers with 3.5%, 3.73%, 1.1%, and 1.4%, respectively.

Emaar Properties and Union Properties declined by 0.49% and 1.48%, respectively.

A total of 159.67 million shares were traded at a value of AED 165.64 million.
