Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) edged higher by 0.42% at the end of Sunday’s trading session to close at 2,776.56 points after earning 11.68 points.
The market’s turnover amounted to AED 97.45 million where 140.06 million shares were traded through 1,590 transactions.
The banks sector came on top of the gainers with 0.83%, whereas the real estate sector led the losers with 0.21%.
Takaful Emarat was the top riser, followed by Air Arabia with 1.92%, Emaar Properties with 0.25%, and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) with 1.10%.
Meanwhile, DXB Entertainments and Deyaar Development decreased by 7.29% and 2.87%, respectively.
