Dubai – Mubasher: The general index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inched up by 0.70% after earning 19.43 points, closing at 2,782.45 points on Monday.
The bourse saw a turnover of AED 135.75 million after 76.60 million shares were exchanged through 1,723 transactions.
The market cap value gained AED 2.12 billion, reaching AED 377.83 billion from AED 375.71 billion on Sunday.
Sector-wise, the consumer staples group topped the risers with 1.68%, whereas the real estate group led the fallers with 0.29%.
In the meantime, Khaleeji Commercial Bank came on top of the gainers with 6.99%, whereas Ithmaar Holding was the top decliner with 5.08%.
Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) achieved the highest liquidity of AED 27.60 million, while Deyaar Properties led the trading activity with 14.06 million shares.
The blue chips stocks of DXB Entertainments and Damac Properties went up by 2.53% and 1.88%, respectively. Meanwhile, Arabtec Holding fell by 2.21%.
