Dubai – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market grew by 0.18% or 4.91 points at the end of Sunday’s trading session, closing at 2,727.34 points.
The bourse’s turnover amounted to AED 225.48 million after 144.14 million shares were traded through 1,790 transactions.
The market cap value gained AED 420 million, reaching AED 371.26 billion from AED 370.84 billion on Thursday.
The real estate segment inched up by 0.57%, whereas the consumer staples segment was down by 1.99%.
Islamic Arab Insurance Company (Salama) topped the gainers with 3.10%, whereas Gulfa Mineral Water and Processing Industries Company led the decliners with 2.62%.
Gulfa Mineral Water and Processing Industries Company saw the highest turnover of AED 57.08 million, while Union Properties led the trading activity with 38.80 million shares.
As for the leading stocks, Arabtec Holding and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) went up by 1.50% and 1.12%, respectively.
