DIFC creates new digital platform for facilitating businesses

UAE – Mubasher: Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), recognised as the leading financial centre in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia region, launched a new digital onboarding platform to ease the establishment of businesses at DIFC and increase operational efficiency.

In line with the DIFC’s efforts to ease and accelerate the process of doing businesses and merging new companies, the new platform offers cutting-edge technology solutions, including optical character recognition and digital signatures.

Through the platform, companies can also self-register on the DIFC’s website and start the formation process, according to a recent press release.

Commenting on the new initiative, the executive vice president of operations of DIFC, Alya Al Zarouni, said: “Our new and improved digital onboarding platform will vastly improve efficiencies for our clients and the DIFC, making it easier and quicker to establish a business at the Centre through a simple and innovative digital portal that cuts application times in half.”
