Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Land Department (DLD) on Sunday announced signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Informa Middle East, the organiser of Cityscape, the region’s real estate platform.
The strategic agreement, which was signed by Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, director general of DLD, and Tom Rhodes, exhibition director at Cityscape, targets strengthening the emirate's position as an investment destination to attract more real estate investors.
“Dubai has rapidly evolved into a global business and investment hub, and DLD looks forward to strengthening our Emirate's position and achieving consistent success in the industry, ensuring the sustainable growth of our real estate sector," Bin Mejren commented.
Moreover, the MoU aims at highlighting the scope of real estate investment opportunities and showcase major projects to regional and international investors across all markets in the Cityscape portfolio, the DLD said in a statement.
Rhodes added that both regional and international investors were seeking to invest in cities such as Dubai, which has the ability to meet the demands of global markets and investors’ expectations.
