Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Land Department (DLD) on Sunday announced the inauguration of a real estate promotion trustee office in New York.
The opening was carried out in cooperation with Aqari Global Ltd ‘Century 21,’ and in the presence of the UAE's consul general in New York Majid Al Suwaidi, the DLD said in a statement.
“The new office will contribute to promoting investment opportunities in Dubai’s real estate market in light of the Emirate’s unique advantage over other markets, in addition to the high returns on investment, whether for investors or real estate developers, compared to other cities around the world,” commented DLD director general Sultan Butti bin Mejren.

He highlighted Dubai's real estate importance as one of the 10 "fastest-growing real estate markets in the world," adding that its infrastructure, security, and safety the emirate provides are essential to investors. The DLD supports such initiatives and infrastructure, enhancing investor security and confidence in the emirate.
Meanwhile, DLD Real Estate Promotion and Investment Management Sector CEO Majida Ali Rashid said that the DLD worked to "position Dubai as the world’s premier real estate destination and a byword for innovation, trust and happiness, as well as to maintain the attractive investment opportunities US nationals can obtain in Dubai’s real estate market and the services offered by Dubai Real Estate Institute to agents and brokers in the US."
She added that the newly-opened office will also work closely with property brokers in the US to encourage them to promote Dubai's real estate projects to US-based investors.
