DLD reports AED 3bn property sale transactions

Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai's total amount of real estate sales reached AED 3 billion through 805 transactions in 2015, according to a report released by Dubai Land Department (DLD).

The transaction data reflected the growing demand by investors to develop projects and meet the customers’ needs for residential and office buildings, said Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, DLD Director General.

Al Thunaya 4 was the most attractive residential area, in terms of land sales which totalled AED 754 billion through 338 transactions.

Dubai Marina came in the second place with a total of nine sales worth of AED 878 billion, followed by Wadi Al Safa with 168 transactions worth AED 418 million.
