Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Land Department (DLD) has succeeded in conducting 8,173 real estate valuations valued at around AED 287 billion in 2017, recording the highest value ever, according to a statement.
Valuations are performed for investor visas, gifted transfer, auction sales, zakat calculations, sale estimates, and company annual audits, as customers include private owners, developers and government entities, according to a report issued by Taqyeem, Dubai’s Real Estate Appraisal Centre.
“Taqyeem relies on the data and information available in DLD’s records, and operates according to advanced standards for valuation,” director general of DLD Butti bin Mejren commented.
“The Center’s valuation work is undertaken with meticulous attention to accuracy, transparency, and professionalism, which reflects DLD’s outstanding performance in providing customer services,” he continued.
DLD’s work is supervised by the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC), which is the world-ruling organisation for valuation, the statement noted.
