Dubai - Mubasher: The Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME) held an auction for the Omani Ministry of Oil and Gas during which a cargo of Oman blend crude oil was sold at a premium of $0.09 per barrel (pb) over the official selling price (OSP).
The cargo contains 1 million barrels of Oman crude oil, while the premium is added to the November OSP, the DME statement added.
According to the statement, Oman crude oil’s OSP is calculated based on the monthly average of the DME Marker Prices.
More than 30 bids were made by 17 participants during the auction, as per the statement.
