DMF marks 4M high Wednesday on Emaar, DIB

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday’s trading session with positive performance, registering its highest level in more than four months, supported by the growth of Emaar Properties and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB).    

The DFM’s general index increased by 0.21%, finishing the session at 2,807.96 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 221.79 million after 133.29 million shares exchanged hands through 2,456 transactions.

By the end of the session, the DFM’s market capitalisation increased by AED 825 million, recording AED 365.38 billion.

DXB Entertainments’ stock increased by 1.66%, while the stocks of Mashreq Bank, DIB and Emaar Properties levelled up 5.26%, 0.40%, and 1.18%, respectively.

Similarly, Emaar Developments’ stock went up 0.11%.
