Dubai - Mubasher: DP World has integrated the businesses of its recent acquisitions of Unifeeder and Feedertech to establish feeder and shortsea networks to support the world's ports, according to Dubai media office.
Recently acquired Feedertech connecting ports in South East Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and the Middle East, Unifeeder offers feeder and shortsea services around northern Europe and in the Mediterranean and Northern Africa regions.
By integrating the services of both companies, a platform was created to build a strong trade-oriented network across the world.
Unifeeder and Feedertech will increase the capabilities of DP World's main ports in Dubai's Jebel Ali, Jeddah Islamic Port, as well as ports in India, Africa, and Europe.
Therefore, the world's shippers will be able to provide their services via DP World’s main ports to final destinations across the Middle East, South Asia, Europe, and Africa.
The Group Chairman and CEO of DP World, Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, said: "DP World’s vision is to become the leading end-to-end supply chain solutions provider and contribute to strengthening the position of the countries in which we operate."
