Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE-based, DP World plans to develop project of free zone in Berbera port in Somalia.
The new project that will be located will be like Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), according to a statement.
The project aims to attract more investments, increase trade exchange, and provide new job opportunities.
The project will be implemented on some phases, while the first phase will cover four kilometres of the 12.2 kilometres which are allocated for the project.
The project's coming phases will be implemented after occupancy ratio of the previous phase reach 85%.
The project aims a wide range of companies which are operating in warehousing, and logistics services.
