DPMC to take place in Dubai in April

Dubai – Mubasher: The eighth edition of Dubai Precious Metals Conference (DPMC) will take place in Dubai on 11 April at Atlantis, The Palm.

The event carries the theme “Unlocking Growth in Global Precious Metals”, focusing on driving industry growth, the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) said in a statement on Wednesday.

“DPMC 2019 continues in its tradition of hosting a thought-provoking debate on the issues that matter in the precious metals industry,” Ahmed Bin Sulayem, executive chairman of DMCC, commented.

Pricing, trading, risk management, market demand, structure, and expansion will all be debated at the seminal industry gathering, which will see up to 300 industry experts participating in the event.

“The event will look to harness the collective wisdom of senior delegates in the room to unearth opportunities to grow the industry and overcome some of the challenges it currently faces,” Bin Sulayem added.

Moreover, the ‘World Silver Survey 2019’ flagship report, done by the Silver Institute, will be released simultaneously in New York and Dubai at DPMC.

The conference is comprised of five-panel sessions are Central Banks Approach to Gold, Mining and Return of Hedging, Emerging Technology Affecting Precious Metals Industry, Opportunities and Challenges in White Metals, and Jewellery – Relevance in the Changing Landscape.
