Dubai – Mubasher: Drake and Scull International (DSI) on Tuesday announced appointing Tawfiq Abu Soud as the group CEO.
The decision is effective as of 23 January, the regional provider of engineering and construction services said in a statement to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
The new CEO, who replaced Yousef Al Mulla, has previously served CEO for ADC Energy Systems, CEO for Arabtec Subsidiaries, managing director for DSI’s MEP and Water and Power subsidiaries, and as the Operations director for Manco LLC.
During the first nine months of 2018, the UAE-based developer reported a 46% year-on-year decrease in losses, logging AED 662.9 million, compared to AED 1.22 billion in the prior-year period.
