DSI refuses to comment on debt repayment news

Dubai – Mubasher: Drake and Scull International (DSI) said it cannot confirm or substantiate the adequacy of the purported news reports on 29 May, according to a bourse filing.

Sources had earlier told Reuters that DSI will repay AED 1 billion worth of debts over the coming four years.

The company did not publicly disclose any guidance regarding its future financial performance.

As part of the capital restructuring programme launched in the first quarter of 2017, the company’s management is holding several executive meetings with stakeholders from banks, creditors, and other financial institutions to discuss its future strategy.
