Dubai – Mubasher: Drake and Scull International (DSI) denied news reports that Saudi Arabia’s Lamar Investment and Real Estate stopped it from working on Lamar Towers in Jeddah, according to a bourse statement.
Saudi daily Okaz reported earlier that Lamar suspended DSI from duties and will reach an agreement with a new contractor to carry out the project.
In early October, DSI said it is coordinating with Lamar to reach an amicable resolution to the significant challenges that the Dubai-based contractor faces to implement the latter firm’s tower project in Jeddah.
