Dubai - Mubasher: Drake and Scull International (DSI) will proceed with the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works for the Fairmont Abu Dhabi Hotel and Apartments Towers in Abu Dhabi.
Occupying an overall area of 178,000 square metres adjacent to Marina Mall, the AED 1 billion development is owned by Abu Dhabi-based National Investment Corporation, according to a statement.
Under an AED 233 million contract, DSI will handle MEP works for a 39-storey tower comprising of 563 rooms in the five-star hotel and 249 serviced apartments.
The project is expected to be completed and delivered in 2018.
