Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai World Central (DWC) saw a rise in its passenger traffic by 161% year-on-year during the third quarter of 2016, according to a statement.
DWC welcomed 191,950 passengers in Q3-16, compared to 73,466 in Q3-15.
The year to date traffic reached 602,228 passengers, up 112% compared to figures recorded in the first nine months of 2015.
“The project to expand the annual capacity of the passenger terminal at DWC from 5 million to 26 million passengers is underway and on track to be completed by the third quarter of 2017," according to Dubai Airports’ CEO Paul Griffiths.
