Dubai – Mubasher: DXB Entertainments on Tuesday reported a loss of AED 733.48 million in the first nine months of 2018, compared to AED 861.97 million in the same period a year earlier.
Revenue reached AED 391.619 million in the January-September period of 2018, versus AED 394.654 million in the year-ago period, according to the company financial statement.
The Dubai-listed firm’s loss amounted to AED 271.39 million in the third quarter of this year, down from AED 284.055 million in Q3-17.
The company has generated AED 102.590 million in revenues for the three-month period ended September, compared to AED 115.175 million in the previous year period.
Loss per Share (LPS) stood at AED 0.034 in Q3-18, slightly lower than AED 0.036 in Q3-17.
Moreover, visits increased by 5% year-on-year in Q3-18 to 501,394, whereas visits for the nine-month period jumped 33% to 1.96 million as compared with the same period in 2017, DXB Entertainments revealed in a press release.
Additionally, Lapita Hotel average occupancy surged to 66% in Q3-18, compared to 42% in the prior-year period.
As for the period between January and September of 2018, average occupancy hit 59%, compared to 30% for the corresponding period a year earlier.
