Dubai – Mubasher: Damac Properties on Wednesday announced the completion of the raft foundation works for tower B at its multi-tower master development Aykon City.
Over 200,000 cubic feet of concrete were poured within a 24-hour period, which is the same amount required to fill 75 swimming pools, the Dubai-based developer revealed.
“This foundation slab sets the stage for accelerating development at this iconic project, and we look forward to seeing the tower rise up to complement the existing skyline,” senior VP of corporate communications & marketing Niall Mc Loughlin commented.
Situated on 4 million square feet on Sheikh Zayed Road, Aykon City will offer residents the convenience of an entire city within its complex, Damac said in a statement.
“Aykon City is one of Damac’s flagship master developments in Dubai, and aims to offer residents and visitors quality experiences, with an abundance of services and amenities to suit all ages and lifestyles,” the top official added.
