Dubai – Mubasher: DAMAC Properties' execution of Aykon City project is being carried out at a rapid pace with preparations for the construction of a new tower being underway, Al Bayan newspaper reported.
It added that DAMAC will soon need to hire a new contractor.
Situated on 4 million square feet on Sheikh Zayed Road, the AED 7.4 billion project comprises six towers and is slated for completion by 2021.
In February, Damac awarded an AED 600 million contract to China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) as part of the project.
